Have you ever met an Amish person in real life? There's a ton of Amish people where I live in the Midwest, USA. When I was a kid living in a rural area, I can very specifically remembering going to the Amish villages to buy farm groceries like milk, butter and eggs. I remember the kids there seeming incredibly uptight and they just worked with their animals. The Amish are also known for their excellent skills at building, one of my relatives just recently bought a shed built by an Amish community near him and he spent 10 minutes comparing it to the Home Depot sheds and why the Amish built one is so much better.
