there's this game on the ps2 that looks really cute. it's called Poinie's Poin; it's japan-only, but has a full english localization with english voices and everything, which is really odd, but it reminds me a lot of a 90s cartoon. i wish it got released here or something. https://youtu.be/kj6fBzDVLmo?feature=shared there's also this skating game on the gamecube called Go Go Hypergrind published by atlus...but made in cooperation with spumco (the animation studio that made ren and stimpy) it only ever released in north america despite being developed in japan, so it's really expensive and hard to find now...which sucks, because once upon a time, it was dirt cheap, i could've bought it at one point

I played Kanon and I teared up at Ayu's and Shiori's routes. I was brought to tears and the emotion is accelerated by the magnificent OST that plays during certain scenes. If you played the game, you'll know which ones I'm referring to. It's two specifically. Remnants of a Dream (Yume no Ato) and The Day When I Waited for the Wind (Kaze o matta hi) "I said miracles don't happen. But... I... was wrong... Yuuichi... Can... Can I... cry now...?"

I managed to get Hard 1ccs in 19! Reimu's route is easy, Marisa's too. Sanae and Ran are a bit harder, but I'm currently stuck at Aunn. On the other hand, I managed to complete 18.5. I think it was a pretty neat little game.

>>374 any top-down shooter is a space invaders clone, technically... you have to remember that Touhou's been around for a couple of decades by now, and was made by only one person for the most part; the games are kind of like the progenitor to what we'd describe as the indie scene now. combine its age with fun (and/or challenging) gameplay, high replayability, a cool world filled with likeable characters, yet not super heavy on story so there's lots left to the imagination, and good music, and it's not very difficulty to see why it got popular initially. its enduring doujin scene and dedicated fanbase continues to keep the series and its fanbase not only relevant into the current day, but also still growing.

>>368 >what phase comes after this phase? well, everyone has a different answer to that. some people who're super into RPGmaker stuff only exclusively play indies, some of them play platformers. ~~most of them don't actually play games and only watch let's plays and reviews on the internet~~ i tend to play anything that i think is fun. i've been playing a lot of JRPGs recently.

Does anyone play Rain World? Trust me guys its a fun game, it might be a lot difficult, its awesome. If you haven't tried it, you should, its awesome, i dont want to explain EVERYTHING about it, but if you want to play this game blind i suggest not watching videos or listen to me. Welp let me explain what Rain World is, Rain World is a game where you play as a omnivorus slug cat in a broken ecosystem who has been seperated from their family. You might find animals such as Bat Flies and other creatures, but you have to survive dangerous predators such as lizards and vultures, aggresive scavengers, etc. Now this game not gonna lie has the most impressive AI ive ever seen, i mean... Have you seen the scavengers? They can trade, they can throw spears and etc. If you wanna see more of this game i suggest just play the game or watch a video in depth of the game and its flora and fauna. I got it on my Xbox One X, its only $24.99 USD on my xbox. Just play it, its awesome.
