>>11265 Halloween was brought over to America by the Irish and Scottish Catholics. It's on the eve of All Saints Day (also known as All Hallows Day, hence Halloween- All Hallows Eve). It's the beginning of a section of the Catholic liturgical calendar meant to represent the dead and martyrs and such. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that's the history.

I know it's been 2 days but how was everyone's Halloween? There were only 1 group of kids that trick or treated in my neighborhood, but it was nice actually having passed out some candy to some kids this year.
