Has an anime or manga ever made you cry?

>>

>>455 yes hano hana almost made me cry

>>

Yeah Clannad.

>>

Prima Doll, Sakurasou, Onimonogatari, and Beyond the Boundary all made me cry. Lotte no Omocha and No Game No Life didn't quite make me cry, but they made feel...depressed, in a weird roundabout way, like they were too happy, which ended up making me feel sad. Except No Game No Life 0, that one was just normal sad.

Made in Abyss is a different type of cry. It's not sad, watching it is just straight up a horrible feeling.

>>455 Madoka, ep. 8. Have seen it a dozen times and it never fails to draw tears.

Most of the manga I've read are comedy and slice of life. But one manga that made me cry A LOT (especially at the end) was Girl's Last Tour. That final line about "the happiest and the least happy person in the world" just broke my heart. cry

Anime and manga are the only things that make me cry. It can be the most low-hanging fruit of sad scenes, and it will still get me.

>>

>>455 Animes with scenes that are meant to make you cry have never made me even slightly sad (except for Grave of the Fireflies, that one's pretty depressing), but watching certain loner anime characters or simply characters that at some point find themselves isolated because of rejection has teared me up a couple of times since they were relatable to me, even if none of the scenes were intentionally sad. I mentioned Grave of the Fireflies before even clicking in the spoilered OP, I think it might be the saddest piece of fictional media ever produced in human history.

Honestly, I never really cry watching anime when it's "sad". It's more so when they reach triumphant goals after trying their best that gets me. Especially so if it's something romance related (picrel). That and anything to do with motherhood, like in Doremi... But you don't see that much which is unfortunate! >>1754 >but watching certain loner anime characters... that at some point find themselves isolated because of rejection has teared me up a couple of times Could you recommend a couple of these? I'm interested happy
