i don't know if i could do a good job at answering that question in-depth, but i feel like hobbyist stuff like anime and music should be exempt from these kinds of classifications (aside from a handful of very specific examples); sometimes you just happen to like something that annoying people like and it's not really anyone's fault, especially not the fault of the media

i'm studying comp sci in uni and i've got a big problem--i can't math. mental arithmetic is not my forte and i also barely dragged myself through precalc 1 even after spending all day studying for months

i find math fun when i get the concepts, there are just too many times where i don't.. i figured it would be a good idea to see if i can do something about this before i get to discrete structures, so are there any books or tips that can help me understand math precalc, calc, stats and general math concepts better?

Do you practice a lot? Find resources online that will give you problems to practice. You won't get it unless you keep practicing over and over. Anyway, this channel is good for going over most stuff: https://www.youtube.com/@TheOrganicChemistryTutor Helped me a lot of with Calc

(Other than that, I don't really study a lot which is a fault of mine. I'm just super lazy and hope I miraculously do well on my exams)
